Letter from the Host Dean

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Faculty of Medicine here at Memorial University of Newfoundland, it is my great pleasure as host of the 2010 Canadian Conference on Medical Education to welcome you to our beautiful province. Previous visitors will know all about the hospitality and welcoming nature of our people. For those for whom this will be your first experience of Newfoundland I can promise you a stay that will remain in your memory for a long time – and for all the right reasons.

We set high standards and take great enjoyment in our ability to show all visitors a good time. Our planning team have developed an excellent series of events that will give you a glimpse into why so many of us chose to call this place home - even when we’re the snowiest, foggiest, wettest and windiest place in Canada!
